It is with great pleasure that I write in support of CSI Entertainment Insurance and its President, Jim Chippendale.
CSI provided the insurance for the Austin City Limits Music Festival.
However easy that may sound to the uninitiated, our festival was as diverse and complex an event as I have experienced in over ten years in the entertainment industry. Jim ensured that we got the coverage we needed, even when our needs changed several times in the days before our event. Jim was able to help us obtain the right coverage with an extremely quick turnaround. With more than 150,000 attendees over three days outdoors and over 130 bands on multiple performance stages, Jim guided us smoothly through the last minute changes without losing a second or an ounce of composure.
To those who appreciate client service, CSI attended our event and reported back with both constructive criticism from a patron's view as well as a insurance assessment with suggestions on how to improve. This extra step proved CSI's commitment to being part of our safe success in years to come.

I would like to strongly recommend CSI Insurance Group to other Event Promoters and Festival Coordinators.
For the Seabrook Music Festival, we had an exact budget to work with and very specific insurance needs. We contacted several companies which were unresponsive to our needs, except CSI. CSI designed a custom insurance policy to exactly match our coverage needs with the budget we had to work with.
Jim Chippendale took the time to understand our event and to determine what we should insure - and what we didn't need to insure, to save us money while giving us 100% coverage on the areas we really needed most.
On the third and biggest day of our three-day outdoor music festival, we got 5 inches of rain - cancelling the days events. CSI's custom-designed policy covered 100% of the day's losses - a potentially disastrous situation was prevented, and overall, the three-day event was the biggest success in our 18 years. The best part of all is that the insurance settlement was paid exactly when they promised (within 30 days).
After this event, I'm a huge fan of Jim Chippendale and CSI. I give them my highest recommendation and look forward to working with them in the near future.
