Satyricon Guitarists Accused In Concert Rape
The guitarists for the Norwegian black metal band Satyricon were arrested for allegedly raping a concertgoer after their Toronto concert at the Funhaus (December 14).
According to Aftenposten, the alleged incident occurred in the band’s bus. The victim claims she was drugged before being sexually assaulted.
Current guitarists for Satyricon are Lars Norberg on bass and A.O. Gronbech on rhythm guitar.
The band had been touring between the US and Canada before this incident. Satyricon’s drummer, known as Frost, was not given a visa to travel in the US for security reasons. He was replaced by Slipknot drummer Joey Jordison.
Satyricon had been scheduled to play Alrosa Villa on December 12. That show was canceled because of the Damageplan concert tragedy.
